The Golf Channel, available through http://www.cable-tv.com, has become a one stop television viewing spot for everything golf related. While the Golf Channel used to be more of a niche channel, the fact of the matter is that they are now huge, and offer a ton of excellent golf-related shows for you to choose from.
Currently, the Golf Channel airs about 20 regularly scheduled shows, with specials and event coverage shows mixed in. They also provide live scores for all major events. Feherty: We all know David Feherty is witty and outspoken about the game of golf. This show is a launching pad for his humor as he has regularly scheduled guests and just has an all-around good time with the show.
In Play (with Jimmy Roberts): The show with host Jimmy Roberts shows a more interesting and real aspect of golf. Instead of focusing on just the game, Roberts and his team go around the globe searching for interesting, golf related stories to report on. The show gives an in-depth look at what really drives the game of golf.
The Big Break: This show had actually been around for several years and continues to be one of the most popular shows on the Golf Channel. Every year a different destination is chosen and then candidates are given the chance to compete for a chance at prizes, including a PGA or LPGA tour exemption.
Golf Central: Golf Central is the only daily show that provides you with daily news, updates and happenings in the world of golf. It airs every night on the Golf Channel.
Morning Drive: Kind of like Golf Central, except it airs every morning for the early bird that wants to hear all about the happenings in the golf world. Get updates, news, interviews and more during this popular morning Golf Channel program.
